FRAMING
We have been producing and publishing physical photographic works for over a decade now. As we’ve travelled, we’ve had the pleasure of working with and utilising the skillset of some fantastic practitioners and workshops across the UK. When establishing The Wynd Gallery in Hexham, we looked at the dozens of framers we’d collaborated with over the years, as well as meeting and researching a number of local framers across Northumberland and Cumbria who were new to us, hoping to find one we could work with exclusively moving forward.
We met some very talented people but there was one local business that we felt an instant resonance with, and whose work and service blew us away. And so, since opening, all of our framing at The Wynd has been done by Castle Picture Framing in Brampton, headed up by owner Mike Minns with his decades of experience producing stunning frames of every shape and size for clients across the country.
Such is the quality of Mike and his team’s work, it wasn’t long before we were being asked by customers if we would be able to frame pieces they had at home. Since August of 2023, we have been very proud to offer the Castle Picture Framing service to customers in Hexham from The Wynd Gallery.
We have a large selection of frames and mounts to choose from on site at The Wynd Gallery. Customers are encouraged to bring their pieces with them and are more than welcome to spend as long as they need trying combinations or working through ideas. We’re always on hand if you’d like some input, or we can leave you to it and simply give you costs for any possible matches that catch your eye.
If you are in Hexham or are planning a visit and you are interested in having something framed, please do call by to have a look at options and to get an idea of price. We’re confident you wont find a better combination on cost, speed, quality and service than what we offer here at the Wynd through our collaboration with Castle Picture Framing. If you are close to Brampton in Cumbria, then of course you can and should go directly to Castle Framing and experience their service first hand, but if Hexham is your port of call, come to The Wynd where you’ll get the same service and product at the exact same price.
