As a a bit of a film nerd, this was an amazing project to work on. In 2018 the Department for Transport started a campaign called the Year of Engineering, aimed at celebrating engineering and encouraging more young people to see the possibilities within careers in engineering - sometimes those possibilities being quite surprising. For this promotional film I was asked to visit the offices of Double Negative in central London to see how coding is being used to create ground-breaking CGI in the movie industry.

Double Negative have created the graphics for an unbelievable list of award-winning films - at the time of shooting, they were Oscar nominated for their work on Blader Runner 2019. To be in those offices and to interview and pick the brains of some of the very talented people who worked there was an amazing experience.
